London, named after Jack London, who wrote Call Of The Wild, was a fantastic challenge for me. I’d never done anything quite so “serious” on such a deeply textured substrate, (I used Apoxie Sculpt in black to fill in the nooks and crannies). I collaborated with the client every step of the way. When I handed London to her (we met in Tennessee so I did not have to ship him) she teared up; she was so moved. What a reward that was for me! She has since given it to her son, who collects wolves, for his birthday. What a great gift giver she is!
This is called “Krazy Kat”. All the materials are imbedded in black AS. I love this method. I can decorate with all of my goofy doodads and don’t have to grout! He just sold.
